Helen Lee

Im care-experienced, having spent the majority of my childhood in the care system. I’m now a senior leader at a charity, working to improve social care practice by putting children's experience at the centre whilst allowing practitioners to learn and develop inclusive care.

Previously, I  worked at one of the largest foster care providers and before that I worked for 17 years at Ofsted regulating and visiting a variety of social care provisions for children, including fostering, children’s homes and local authorities.

I’m interested in helping to build the movement I could have benefited from as a child. A movement that amplifies the care experienced narrative and celebrates the care experienced community.
